* Surface Preparation
Clean the metal surface thoroughly by removing grease, oil, dust, loose particles and old paint. Wipe the surface and gently sand with emery paper 180.
* Primer Application
Before application, ensure the surface is dry and free from moisture. Apply a coat of PRIMERA Red Oxide Primer using brush or spray and let it dry overnight. Dilute it with 4-5% of mineral turpentine oil, if required. During application, keep the area well ventilated.

While one coat is generally sufficient, the second coat might be considered for extra-protection, especially in humid conditions. Ensure that the mixture is used within 24 hours for effective results
It is recommended to allow the metal primer to dry overnight. Thereby, allowing the surface to completely dry for approximately 8-10 hours before applying the topcoat or emulsion paint. It is also recommended to consider a recoating period, quoted for 25°C and 50% relative humidity. Please note: the drying time may vary based on the weather conditions and temperature
